Need help w/ CASE STUDY-familiar w/ Microbiology??HELP!?
I'm guessing it was Dengue (Yellow) fever, which is the clinical name, and it is contracted by mosquitoes. There are 4 types and it sounds like ol' Carl has the hemorrhagic type, good luck on the rest, hopefully you can figure it out since you're in the class!
Reply:You might suspect that Carl has malaria - you can look up information on malaria to see if it fits this situation. Whether or not Tommy is sick is probably irrelevant.
